First Presbyterian Church of Royal Oak
Join us for the third installment of "Why We Sing." This time we sing to connect -- to history, to the profound, and to our community. In this free concert, we honor the legacy of the spiritual in American history through the works of local composers and arrangers.
Our 2021-2022 season explores "Why We Sing" with the concert, "Prayers and Other Conversations," a live, in-person performance that strives to reconnect us all, exploring necessary conversations about love and healing, held through sacred and secular songs.
A series of virtual concerts performed by Rackham Choir.
Dear Rackham Choir Patrons and Supporters:
As you are aware, Governor Whitmer has declared a state of emergency in Michigan. With that action, the state issued guidance strongly urging the public to avoid gatherings of 100 or more people and to consider cancelling events like concerts.
In accordance with the Governor’s recommendations, and because we don’t want to compromise the health of our patrons or performers, we have decided to suspend our performances for the remainder of this season. Please stay safe and stay healthy.
