An Evening of Theatre Favorites
On September 12, 2008, Rackham Symphony Choir travels to Lexington, Michigan to perform An Evening of Theatre Favorites at the Lexington "Bach and Friends Festival." The evening of music features favorites from opera to broadway and features a performance by the Rackham Ensemble Singers.

Too Hot to Handel, Detroit Opera House
On November 29th and 30th, Rackham Symphony Choir rings in the holiday season with its spectatular signature piece, "Too Hot to Handel: The Jazz-Gospel Messiah." This holiday favorite is back by popular demand and features soloists Roderick Dixon, Victor Trent Cook, Alfreda Burke and a host of Detroit jazz legends. 

Too Hot to Handel, Auditorium Theatre - Chicago
On December 12 and 14, 2008, Rackham Symphony Choir returns to Chicago, Illinois for the fourth annual performance of "Too Hot to Handel: The Jazz-Gospel Messiah" at the historic Auditorium Theatre in downtown Chicago.  This year's holiday performance is not to be missed.

An Affair to Remember VII
Be our Valentine! On Saturday, February 14, 2008, celebrate Valentine's Day with a loved one and the Rackham Symphony Choir at the annual fundraiser "An Affair to Remember." The event promises an unforgettable night of dining, music and silent auction featuring the Rackham Ensemble Singers and special guests.

Dear Mrs. Parks
On March 6-8, 2009, Rackham Symphony Choir performs the moving "Dear Mrs. Parks" with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra at Detroit's Orchestra Hall. Dear Mrs. Parks, about the famed Civil Rights figure Rosa Parks, was given its world premiere by the Detroit Symphony Orchestra in 2005. Rackham Symphony Choir is pleased to join the DSO for the 2009 performance of this moving work.

The Armed Man: A Concert for Peace
On April 5, 2009, Rackham Symphony Choir reprises "The Armed Man: A Concert for Peace" featuring the live performance of Karl Jenkins' moving oratorio "The Armed Man" along with the simultaneous projection of an original film "The Armed Boy," commissioned and produced in Michigan by Rackham Symphony Choir. The 2007 premiere of this stunning multi-media performance received rave reviews and returns for one show only at the Ford Center for Performing Arts in Dearborn, Michigan.
